Audio Interview: Rhodes

Hey guys!

The one thing I love the most about interviewing people is the fact that I get to chat to someone about something they are passionate about.

Learning about how musicians approach their art and how they handle their spot in the industry, is truly fascinating.
And I'm very happy that I always have the chance to share conversations with the house in the sand readers, in order to bring you closer to your favourite acts.

A little while ago I had the pleasure of chatting to the very talented and very lovely Rhodes.

Rhodes is a musician originally from Baldock, UK, now based in London, UK.
His music marches on the fine line between Alternative and Pop/Rock.

The young singer/songwriter's music started to spread when his song "Always" made it onto BBC Radio 1's playlist early 2013.

Once the music was "out there", so was Rhodes himself.
Armed with a guitar and a voice that will leave you speechless, Rhodes made his way onto the festival stages of Glastonbury, Radio 1's Big Weekend and many more.
Supporting acts suchs as London Grammar, Sam Smith and Hozier, made Rhodes gain a loyal and well deserved fanbase.

If you spend some time watching his performances, you'll realise that this musician was meant to be on stage and perform his songs for the audiences.

Releases:
EP: Raise Your Love (2013)
EP: Morning (2014)
Album: Wishes (2015)

When Rhodes called me for this interview, we had a little chat his favourite guitar gear, being on tour, what Hozier taught him and a lot more.
Rhodes might be one of the most passionate people I've spoken to in a while.
